ebnetd-common software package provides Common files for the EBNETD suite, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ebnetd-common
ebnetd-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ebnetd-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ebnetd-common *
You will get with ebnetd-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
